Description
SPA section cogged raw-edge wedge belt, 12.7 mm top width x 10 mm deep, 1757 mm pitch length (Lp). The cogs let it wrap smaller pulleys and run cooler than a wrapped belt. Fits the same pulleys as a standard SPA1757. Wedge belts carry more power than a classical V-belt of the same width, so drives can be narrower and lighter. The number after the section is the pitch (datum) length in mm, which is how SPA belts are measured and ordered.

Equivalents
Cogged raw-edge SPA belts are also sold as XPA (for example XPA1757). Any SPA1757 belt from Gates, Optibelt, Continental, Dunlop, Fenner or SKF has the same section and length and fits the same pulleys.
